the tendencies

It is probably not one of the burning issues in our (digital) lives, but it is certainly a topic: which technological research and applications will be launched in 2016? The established BBC posed the question to a series of specialists (advisors, lawyers, executives of telecommunications and technology companies, researchers, etc.) and formed what they consider to be the top-10 of the most important trends for 2016. We said it’s good to take a look at them:

1 – Cybercrime and the renewed emphasis on cybersecurity (excluding intelligence services). Specifically in relation to
2 – Internet of things and the development of the hyper-connected (daily) world;
3 – Real-time data analysis, for business purposes;
4 – Data protection legislation;
5 – Developments in artificial intelligence and robotics, and the replacement of various jobs;
6 – The shaping of smartphones as the basic tool for (almost) everything;
7 – Virtual reality applications for business purposes;
8 – The improvement of personalized product promotion;
9 – The establishment of drone usage for deliveries;
10 – The increase in competition from startups against established companies.

However you look at it, the (capitalist) change of paradigm is anything but boring!
