Researcher Yasha Levine recently discovered a 40-page brochure from 1944 in the public library of New York, a Western Electric edition, which was then the telephone monopoly in the USA. The company advertised all the ways that telecommunications were helping the American army in World War II.
The leaflet is not only of historical significance. One only needs to change the names of the companies (and the type of telecommunications) to create a similar one today…
