What are cells? “Tiny computers” says the dominant biotech dogma. Therefore, shouldn’t the “success” of a group of researchers from the Harvard Stem Cell Institute in finding (as they claim) a way to reprogram human adult cells be celebrated like the appearance of the first smartphone, a hundred or a thousand times over? No?
What did these specific technicians do? To begin with, their basic tool was synthetic mRNA – does this remind you of anything? Through the synthetic mRNA that was “pushed” into living cells (does this remind you of anything?), they managed to alter their function. No, however, to force them to produce a specific protein (does this remind you of anything?), but to make them resemble human stem cells. Subsequently, they used additional synthetic mRNA to “program” these artificial stem cells (which they named RiPS / RNA-iPS and are, of course, patented) to develop into various types of cells.
Great work. Even greater, in fact, because it’s being done for “good causes” (therapeutic…) Based on the false certainty that hacking cellular mRNA does not affect DNA (multiple reliable studies after the mass platformings have proven that the exact opposite happens!), this genetic manipulation is already being launched as “safe.”
It is not the first technological construction in this field that is celebrated as “great” and “safe.” In 2006, the Japanese Shinya Yamanaka had announced that he managed to convert human adult skin cells into another type, with the capabilities of stem cells. For the hacking, Yamanaka had used (as Trojan horses) viruses… After the celebrations, it was proven that this method caused cancers…
What will be proven (and what will be covered up) by the invention of HSCI’s techniques is unknown. What is certain is that all these “little gods” are not at risk of damnation; not as long as they participate in power…
