Even if someone hesitates to use the term “fascism” for the current, contemporary evolution of oligarchies toward absolute monarchies, they can no longer fail to see the application of Mussolini’s definition of fascism.
On June 13 of last year, 4 first-class (and very wealthy…) executives from Silicon Valley companies were sworn in as anti-constitutionalists of the U.S. Army. They form the core of “Detachment 201,” described as “a new initiative combining cutting-edge technologies with the needs of the military.” These include Shyam Sankar (head of technology and executive vice president at Palantir), Kevin Weil (head of products at OpenAI), Andrew “Boz” Bosworth (chief technology officer at Meta), and Bob McGrew (former head of research at OpenAI and current engineering director at Palantir). The swearing-in took place just hours before the “big military parade” organized by the cannabis company – and funded by Palantir…

Of course, these are not people who will leave their bones in some battlefield. It seems that one of their jobs is to act as “crackers” for the recruitment into the U.S. Army of individuals with IT backgrounds. As someone observed: … With the newly recruited anti-commanders in a world far from any real clash, the officer corps of Palantir will not lead troops into the next war. But hidden safely behind their digital curtain, they will watch, collect data—and persuade the next generation of geeks to enlist.
