Not a few were those who, considering that the theonazi, apartheid regime was “armed to the teeth” from every aspect, could not have suffered the defeat of October 7th without some kind of “collusion”… (That they subsequently concluded that they found it was child’s play for all these unrelated people).
The regime of Tel Aviv had indeed encircled the Gaza Strip with the best that modern surveillance and control technology has to offer: a dense network of cameras and sensors; drones and satellites for constant aerial monitoring; and a system of complex algorithms for the rapid processing of all this data, capable of issuing frequent “assessments” of threats from Palestinian resistance.
But the Palestinian resistance demonstrated real human intelligence. There were movements and preparations of theirs that could not be hidden (due to their mass character), and therefore they “allowed” them to be recorded… However, there were also processes that could be concealed: mainly communications with sensitive content among its members. Their mobile phones were thus “functioning,” knowingly under surveillance and recording; but the content was trivial, the usual routine that was already registered in the archives of “artificial intelligence”… The serious matters were said and exchanged through “old” methods: word of mouth…
Thus, the Palestinian resistance achieved this massive volume of data, which after mechanical processing led to automatically reassuring “findings”. What machine and what operator could have imagined the audacity that was being prepared?
The data-driven colonialism collapsed as soon as some organized groups exploited the real blindness of the “panopticon.” Something similar happened months ago by the Taliban in Afghanistan: the data-driven NATO military machine was certain that it would take months to capture Kabul after the American withdrawal; it took only a few hours, surprising (and humiliating) the occupiers…
